.... Collage ....

I often struggle with collages.   In my mind I made several starts on this and almost said, “well, let's just let it pass.”

There was a man named George Fabyan who really did nothing to earn his wealth.   The title “Colonel” was bestowed on him by the Governor of Illinois.   This was because he had become the foremost authority on cipher codes even analyzing what some say is written into Shakespeare's writing.   His training of 88 Army officers in “code breaking” helped clear for a victory in World War I.   He was also an early authority on acoustic engineering and there remains today the research facility of Riverside in Geneva, Illinois.   His estate is adorned with animal cages once housing bears and monkeys and Japanese gardens.   The house was re-designed and renovated by Frank Lloyd Wright.
