Lesson Five

A couple of bothersome things. The “rings” around my planet show pixels. This was evident at 100% in Xara but very sharp at 200% and higher. These are outlines to an ellipse. The other thing that I couldn't get rid of is the white lines outlining the flowers. Too late I discovered that they were white because they were not too noticable on a gray backgroud. Then I changed the background to black. I did find that I could select all and right click on black and the outline disappeared. But, in return, I also got a black line that the flowers are following. This line was visible even with the attribute set to “none” for the line. Then if I clicked on white the outline of the petals returned and the curving line turned to white. I gave up.
