Considering the weather we are having in the United States this January in the new year, 2014, I have decided to only use winter photographs. All the photographs have been taken around our residence in Southwest Ohio where we have lived since August, 1987. Well, this is not entirely correct. This first photo was recently taken at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens during their “Festival of Lights”, a Christmas time display of about 2 million lights.
I am just filling up white space here so this really need not be read. We tried unsuccessfully to return to the Zoo on the evening of December 26th only to find a 2-3/4 mile line of cars all wanting to get into the Zoo's parking lot — which was probably already full. Though we had already spent a consider sum of money for the six of us to enter, a quick decision was made to forget about it. Luckily, the tickets were purchased on-line and are good for a period of one year. There are many events at the Zoo for which we can use these tickets.
Well, back to the winters of Southwest Ohio and the photographic opportunities. Our residential area has a monthly magazine to inform those who read it, local news that might be of interest. I have had two of my pictures featured on the cover, the below one of these photos. The other picture will appear in a later less IF I can find it. There was a third photograph of a sunset in August a couple of years ago. But it does not fit the theme of these lessons.

Surprisingly, this all worked on first try. I thought that there would be all sorts of pathing problems. Hurray for PHP, it is fairly simple and not at all difficult.
