Canadain Inside Passage

On departure from Vancouver, the ship proceeds northwest between the Vancouver Island Ranges and British Columbia.   The scenery is constantly changing which made for an interesting, relaxing day.   I have never spent long periods of time on the open sea, but it seems to me that it would be very boring. (Yes, I know. I made the Navy a career.)

This first day was spent visiting with my sister and enjoying the amenities of their stateroom, their balcony.

And, exploring the Sea Princess.   The photograph below on the left is of the ceiling of the atrium.   The other is the atrium at the 5th Level

We were on the Sea Princess for seven nights.   There were two formal dress dinners, one semi-formal dinner and the remaining evenings were casual.   The first formal dinner came quickly.   Not since our days with the Navy have we dressed in formal attire.   It was nice.

The first of these two photographs of the sunset were taken from our stateroom. For the second, I went out on deck. It was the last sunset that we would see for quite some time.
